Yes ppl u have to copy/paste a lot if u wanna use this app n yes the other person needs to have this too so they can read the messages.... Too much work other then That its a nice App a good concept good security for Ur text messages. Developers u couldve done Better
Love the app
The receiver of the messages has to know what password was used to encrypt each of your messages (if you dont know their password, you cant read their messages). Assuming youre texting this person, theres a good chance that password will be sent in a text, making it available for anyone who really wants to read your messages. You have to individually copy and paste (which is impossible to tell when the message has been pasted into the app, no paste button) each time your want to send or receive an encrypted message. There are several other apps out there that offer an alternative to using an standard SMS or MMS that dont require constant copy and paste (many of them are free!). It would be much simpler to send the messages over the internet directly through the app so that you are not jumping between apps all the time.
Very good app. It is a little confusing in the beginning. But it is good for stuff
This is so cool! I love the black bubble
Its a cool concept, its a but hard to use with two people and both have to download, but I like it.
I have a iPod touch do I dont know if that is the problem ,but I send the word hi and jumbles of letters pop up . This is really a let down
Horrible
Wow. Amazing app! All I needed!
Handy app that works well and is a great solution for people looking to send private information.
Great concept. A bit more tightly integrated with the SMS infrastructure and this could be an enterprise play
Me and my friends use it but we definitely think you should be able to send pictures too
Nowhere in the description does it say that both parties need to have it installed for it to work. So I never ended up using it. What a rip!
Test drove this app and it does exactly as it claims it does. However, it needs to handle images as well, not mere text. Felt a bit cheated upon finding this out.
This is just what I was looking for.
i have to invite my friends? I just wanted privacy
For it for free when it came out and works like a charm
Not the hide feature but the way that you type a password then you get the message the only glitch is that the other person has to have the app but other then that it is good I was going to rate it 4 stars but I wanted to be nice
It encrypts really well. A good app. One of the great feature about this app which is not mentioned anywhere is that it also serves as a secondary check for people like me who sometimes sends messages to the wrong party because of the tendency to tap the "Send" button before checking who the recipient is. However the black bubble currently works only for SMS and iMessage. In order to use this app for other texting app like Whatsapp, only the link works. And so when using the link, there is a manual process of pressing the green unlock button in order to decrypt (unlike the black bubble which black SMS decrypts automatically). Thanks for developing this great app! What would be a really good improvement for this app is to actually have texting capabilities. This would solve the "switching-between-apps" inconvenience that some face.
